Kissimmee, FL – Osceola Arts está emocionado de comenzar la primavera con una nueva y emocionante exposición en Osceola Arts. A partir del martes, 6 de abril, y hasta el viernes, 30 de mayo en el Studio Gallery, “Split the Difference” (Divide la Diferencia) cuenta con el trabajo de los artistas afroamericanos Victor McLeod y Sheherazade Thenard, ambos residentes de Orlando. “Split the Difference” ofrece dos perspectivas únicas explorando temas de patrimonio, identidad cultural y auto-mito. Cada pieza es una conexión emocional entre el artista y su narrativa personal, ya sea por tradición, etnia o relación familiar.

Split the Difference: The Art of Victorious McLeod and Sheherazade Thenard

Kissimmee, FL – Osceola Arts is excited to kick off spring with an exciting new exhibit at Osceola Arts. Beginning Tuesday, April 6, and running through Friday, May 30 in the Studio Gallery, Split the Difference features work by Orlando-based African American artists Victorious McLeod and Sheherazade Thenard. Split the Difference offers two unique perspectives by exploring themes of heritage, cultural identity, and self-myth. Each piece is an emotional connection between the artist and their personal narrative, whether that be by tradition, ethnicity, or familial relation.
