 Viernes 30-08-19 8 a.m. hasta las 6 p.m.

 Los residentes de la ciudad deberán presentar un comprobante de residencia en forma de identificación con fotografía o factura de servicios públicos para recoger los sacos de arena. El nombre y la dirección de cada residente que reciba sacos de arena serán documentados y fechados.

 Los residentes de la ciudad recibirán 12 sacos de arena y tiritas cada uno, y los llenarán ellos mismos. La ciudad proporcionará 6 palas en el lugar.

Los residentes y visitantes deben monitorear las noticias locales para obtener instrucciones adicionales, asegúrese de que su equipo de suministros de desastres esté completo y su plan esté listo para permanecer seguro.

 

 

CIC activated, sandbags to be available on Thursday, August 29

Osceola County, Florida – The Osceola County Citizen Information Center hotline was activated Wednesday morning (08-28-19) for citizens with specific questions – or who need to speak with an Osceola County representative. That number is 407-742-0000

In preparation for potential severe weather conditions, Osceola County residents may fill and make sandbags at several locations beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday 08-29-19. (See info below).

As we wait to see the path of #Dorian, now is the time to review disaster preparations and #GetAPlan!

 Residents should secure loose outdoor equipment and yard debris, and check on pantry and medical supplies

 City residents will be required to provide proof of residency in the form of a picture ID or utility bill in order to collect sandbags.

 City residents will receive 12 sandbags and ties each, and will fill them

themselves. The City will provide 6 shovels at the site.

Residents and visitors should continue to monitor local news for further instructions, ensure disaster supply kits are fully stocked and plans are in place to remain safe.
