Kissimmee, FL – La Asociación de Electricidad Municipal de la Florida otorgó el premio Construyendo Comunidades Fuertes del 2016 a Kissimmee Utility Authority por el firme compromiso de la compañía de servicios públicos de atender las necesidades de la comunidad durante el pasado año. El premio se presenta anualmente a empresas de servicios públicos que mejoran la calidad de vida en sus comunidades a través de actividades que abordan sus necesidades y mejoran el ambiente social, cultural, educativo y económico del área.
En el último año, KUA apoyó casi 100 organizaciones comunitarias y actividades que impactaron a un total de 250,000 residentes.


KUA Receives Statewide Community Service Award

Kissimmee, FL – The Florida Municipal Electric Association has presented its 2016 Building Strong Communities Award to Kissimmee Utility Authority for the utility’s strong commitment to addressing community needs during the past year.
The award is presented annually to utilities that enhance the quality of life in their communities through activities that address their needs and improve the area’s social, cultural, educational and economic environment.
In the past year, KUA supported nearly 100 community organizations and activities that impacted a combined 250,000 residents.
