Kissimmee, FL – El Departamento de Parques y Recreación de la Ciudad de Kissimmee está ofreciendo clases de ejercicios Zumba en el Centro Comunitario Chambers Park comenzando el 26 de octubre.
Zumba es la última moda en ejercicios que combina ritmos Latinos, hip-hop, danza de salón y otros estilos de baile. La clase de ejercicio en grupo es de alto impacto y aumenta el ritmo cardiaco. ¡Disfrute mientras quema entre 600-1000 calorías por clase con Zumba!
La cuota de inscripción es de $20/mes y las clases se realizarán en los siguientes días y horas: Martes & jueves - 9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.; jueves - 6:45 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.; viernes - 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Youth basketball league
Kissimmee, FL — The City of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation Department will be accepting registration for the Kissimmee Youth Basketball League from November 1 – December 7.
Practices will begin the week of January 9, 2012, and will be held one night a week. Games will be held on Saturdays for the season that will run from January 21, 2012 – February 25, 2012. Practices and games will take place at the Denn John Middle School Gym.
A player assessment will be held on December 10, to determine teams. All players need to attend this assessment. Teams are divided by age: six - eight years old, nine - 11 years old, 12 -14, and 15 - 17.
The registration fee is $60, which includes a jersey. Registration accepted after December 7, will include a $10 late fee and will be subject to availability.
Registration is accepted in person on Monday – Friday, from 12:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at Fortune Road Athletic Complex located at 2500 Fortune Road.
