KISSIMMEE, Fla. –The City of Kissimmee’s Annual Employee Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in front of Kissimmee City Hall, located at 101 Church Street. The City of Kissimmee, Toho Water Authority, and Kissimmee Utility Authority will contribute to this program to remember their employees that have passed and honor those that have retired. The service acknowledges employees whose names are engraved on a permanent monument which is in front of Kissimmee City Hall. Officials and employees from all three entities will be participating in, and attending, the service. The family members of those who are to be honored and the general public are also welcome to attend. Due to the location of the monument, and to offer reverence for the service, Church Street between Monument Avenue and Dakin Avenue will close at 10 a.m. and will reopen at 11 a.m. For more information about the City of Kissimmee visit, www.kissimmee.org.
