Nueva Orleans, Louisiana – La Asociación Municipal Eléctrica de Florida (FMEA) y la Agencia Municipal de Energía de Florida anunciaron el 19 de junio en el Hilton New Orleans Riverside, cuatro líderes del poder público de Florida que fueron honrados con los premios nacionales de la Asociación Americana de Energía Pública (APPA). Reconocidos fueron Amy Zubaly, directora ejecutiva de FMEA, Frederick (Fred) Bryant, exasesor general FMPA y FMEA, Chris Gent, vicepresidente de comunicaciones corporativas de Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) y Michael Perri, Jr., autoridad de servicios públicos de Fort Pierce (FPUA) Miembro de la Junta. Los premios fueron presentados en la Conferencia Nacional APPA y Public Power Expo en Nueva Orleans. APPA es la asociación comercial nacional para más de 2.000 empresas de servicios públicos propiedad de la comunidad de los EE. UU.

Chris Gent receives National Award 

New Orleans, Louisiana – The Florida Municipal Electric Association (FMEA) and Florida Municipal Power Agency (FMPA) announced on June 19th at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, four Florida public power leaders which were honored with American Public Power Association (APPA) national awards. Recognized were Amy Zubaly, FMEA Executive Director, Frederick (Fred) Bryant, former FMPA and FMEA General Counsel, Chris Gent, Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) Vice President of Corporate Communications, and Michael Perri, Jr., Fort Pierce Utilities Authority (FPUA) Board member. The awards were presented at the APPA National Conference & Public Power Expo in New Orleans. APPA is the national trade association for more than 2,000 U.S. community-owned electric utilities.
“I was very honored, humbled and grateful to receive the Harold Kramer-John Preston Personal Service Award from the American Public Power Association at its national conference in New Orleans. The award recognizes my service to APPA and my 25 years of service to Public Power! #PublicPower #FLPublicPower” said Chris Gent from the Kissimmee Utility Authority.
