Festival Kowtown, auspiciado por Kissimmee Utility Authority

Kissimmmee, FL – Kissimmee Main St. y la ciudad de Kissimmee presentó al Festival Kowtown en el Kissimmee Lakefront Park este pasado sábado, 26 de marzo de 2016.
Miles asistieron este año al Festival Kowtown celebrando el 133er Cumpleaños de Kissimmee. Las festividades incluyeron el Kissimmee Valley Rib Rodeo, una competencia de BBQ certificada por el Florida BBQ Association. Otras actividades incluyeron música en vivo de Lauren Laster y Patrick Gibson, Bobby Mitchell de K92FM, cerveza fría traída por Yuengling Lager, la zona poderosa para niños KUA, la competencia anual de comer hot dog auspiciado por Willy’s Wieners, vendedores locales, deliciosos BBQ y tres pasteles de cumpleaños traídos por Sam’s Club de Kissimmee.
El Kissimmee Valley Rib Rodeo incluyó sobre 40 equipos de profesionales y no profesionales del BBQ de toda la Florida, en adición a Georgia y Ohio compitiendo en cuatro tipos de carne.

Willy’s Wieners auspició el concurso de comer hot dog donde los concursantes avanzaron para ver quien terminaba comiendo la mayor cantidad de hot dog en dos minutos. El ganador de la competencia fue Michael de Cocoa quien sobrepasó el récord anterior al comer 8 hot dogs. El recibirá una tarjeta de regalos por $25 de Willy’s Wieners y todos los concursantes recibirán una t-shirt de Willy’s Wieners por su participación.


The Kowtown Festival sponsored by Kissimmee Utility Authority

Kissimmee, FL – Kissimmee Main Street and the City of Kissimmee presented the 2016 Kowtown Festival at the Kissimmee Lakefront Park this past Saturday, March 26, 2016.
Thousands were in attendance as this year’s Kowtown Festival celebrated Kissimmee’s 133rd Birthday. The festivities included the Kissimmee Valley Rib Rodeo, a BBQ Competition sanctioned by the Florida BBQ Association. Other activities included live music from Lauren Lester and Patrick Gibson, K92FM’s Bobby Mitchell, cold beer provided by Yuengling Lager, KUA Kid’s Power Zone, the annual hot dog eating contest sponsored by Willy’s Wieners, local vendors, delicious BBQ and three birthday cakes provided by Sam’s Club Kissimmee.
The Kissimmee Valley Rib Rodeo featured over 40 professional and backyard BBQ teams from all over Florida, in addition to Georgia and Ohio, competing in four meat categories

Willy’s Wieners sponsored the hotdog eating contest where contestants raced to see who can finish eating the most hotdogs within two minutes. The winner of the hot dog eating contest was Michael from Cocoa, FL who beat the standing record by eating 8 hot dogs. He will receive a $25 gift card to Willy’s Wieners and all competing contestants will receive a Willy’s Wieners t-shirt for participating.
The Kowtown Festival was made possible by Kissimmee Main Street, City of Kissimmee, Experience Kissimmee, Yuengling Lager, Kissimmee Utility Authority, Central Florida Expressway Authority, Sedano’s Supermarkets, Toho Water Authority, Sunbelt Rentals, Sprint, Truly Nolen and Integrative Physical Medicine.
