Orlando, FL – Con el verano en curso y la temporada de huracanes activa, este es el momento ideal para prepararse antes de que una tormenta o huracán .
Para ayudar a los residentes a proteger sus viviendas ante posibles inundaciones, la División de Carreteras y Alcantarillados Pluviales del muncipio de Orlando ofrecerá bolsas de arena ya preparadas, sin costo alguno. El personal municipal estará disponible en el lugar para ayudar a colocar las bolsas en los vehículos, y también habrá una estación de autoservicio (mientras duren los suministros). Se permitirá un máximo de 10 bolsas por vehículo.
Esta jornada brinda a los residentes una oportunidad preventiva para proteger sus hogares y pertenencias durante esta temporada de hurcanes.

The City of Orlando will distribute free sandbags in preparation for hurricane season.
Orlando, FL – With summer underway and hurricane season active, this is the ideal time to prepare before a storm or hurricane hits.
To help residents protect their homes from potential flooding, the City of Orlando’s Division of Roads and Stormwater will be offering pre-made sandbags free of charge. City staff will be available on-site to assist with loading the bags into vehicles, and a self-service sandbag station will also be available (while supplies last). A maximum of 10 bags per vehicle will be allowed.
This event provides residents with a preemptive opportunity to protect their homes and belongings during this hurricane season.

• Friday, July 11, 2025 — 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
