Condado Osceola, FL – La Oficina del Sheriff del Condado Osceola fue notificada por el Centro Nacional para Niños Desaparecidos y Explotados (NCMEC) sobre un incidente relacionado con una persona que compartía archivos de material de abuso sexual infantil y solicitaba material de abuso sexual infantil a otros usuarios en línea. Los detectives de la unidad de Delitos Cibernéticos contra Niños (ICAC) iniciaron una investigación sobre el incidente.
El 27 de enero de 2026, los detectives de la unidad ICAC ejecutaron una orden de registro en una residencia en la comunidad de Poinciana en relación con este incidente. Mediante la investigación, se identificó al sospechoso como Lebron Grooms. Con base en la evidencia obtenida durante esta investigación, el Sr. Grooms fue acusado de cuarenta y un (41) cargos de posesión de fotografías/videos de actos sexuales con un menor, uso ilegal de un dispositivo de comunicación bidireccional y posesión de fotografías/videos de actividad sexual con un animal. El Sr. Grooms fue arrestado e ingresado en la cárcel del Condado Osceola sin derecho a fianza. Esta investigación continúa en curso. Arrest of child porn suspect
Osceola County, FL – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) of an incident regarding an individual file sharing child sexual abuse material and soliciting users online for child sexual abuse material. Detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit began an investigation into the incident.
On January 27th, 2026, Detectives with the ICAC unit served a residential search warrant at a residence
in the Poinciana Community regarding this incident. Through an investigation, the suspect was
identified as Lebron Grooms. Based on evidence obtained during this investigation, Mr. Grooms was
charged with (41) forty-one counts of Possession of Photo/Video of Sexual Performance by a Child and
unlawful use of a two-way communication device and possession of photo video of sexual activity
involving an animal. Mr. Grooms was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail with zero bond.
This investigation is on-going at this time.
