Dr. Phillips Center da la bienvenida a 850 invitados a la primera producción itinerante de Harry Potter y El Legado Maldito

Orlando, FL – El Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts da la bienvenida a 850 estudiantes, profesores y grupos comunitarios del centro de Florida a la primera producción itinerante de la obra de teatro ganadora de seis premios Tony, Harry Potter y el Legado Maldito.

Hasta el 10 de febrero, 26 grupos comunitarios de todo el centro de Florida se sumergirán por completo en el mundo mágico a través de una serie de experiencias inolvidables. El DeVos Hall se transformará en el Gran Comedor de Hogwarts, creando el escenario perfecto para una visita memorable. Los asistentes disfrutarán de una variedad de actividades, desde una clase magistral de dicción pararta educadores de teatro hasta un encuentro con búhos proporcionado por Orlando’s Falconry Adventures.

“Desde nuestra inauguración, hemos recibido a más de 66.000 visitantes a través de nuestras iniciativas de participación comunitaria”, dijo Rachel Moalli, Directora Sénior de Asuntos Corporativos y Participación Comunitaria del Dr. Phillips Center. “Cada año, ampliamos nuestro alcance para conectar a más comunidades con las artes; desde la ciudad de Orlando hasta los condados de Orange y Osceola y más allá, estamos abriendo puertas para que más personas experimenten las artes”.

El 7 de febrero, funcionarios electos de la ciudad de Orlando y del gobierno del condado de Orange de cada distrito se reunirán para destacar a 16 escuelas y organizaciones comunitarias seleccionadas para participar en esta experiencia especial. La celebración continúa el 10 de febrero, con 200 estudiantes de las escuelas del condado de Osceola participando por primera vez en una excursión para experimentar la magia de Broadway.

Los asistentes disfrutarán de transporte gratuito proporcionado por GoPegasus, una recepción previa al espectáculo con juegos de preguntas y respuestas, helado de Kelly’s Ice Cream y una bolsa de regalo temática para llevar a casa. A través de la iniciativa Community Giveback, el Dr. Phillips Center trabaja con donantes y socios para brindar experiencias culturales especiales a audiencias en todo el centro de Florida. Esta iniciativa de apoyo comunitario es posible gracias al generoso apoyo de Bob Fleming y Molly Rose, la ciudad de Orlando, la Florida Theatrical Association, GoPegasus, Jeff y Alexis Weltman, JP Morgan Chase, Kelly’s Ice Cream, el gobierno del condado de Orange, Sysco y WastePro.

Dr. Phillips Center welcomes 850 guests to the first touring production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Orlando, FL – The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is welcoming 850 students, teachers, and community groups from Central Florida to the first touring production of the six-time Tony Award-winning play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Through February 10, 26 community groups from across Central Florida will be fully immersed in the wizarding world through a series of unforgettable experiences. DeVos Hall will be transformed into the Great Hall of Hogwarts, creating the perfect setting for a memorable visit. Attendees will enjoy a variety of activities, from a diction masterclass for theater educators to an owl encounter provided by Orlando’s Falconry Adventures.

“Since our opening, we have welcomed more than 66,000 visitors through our community engagement initiatives,” said Rachel Moalli, Senior Director of Corporate Affairs and Community Engagement at the Dr. Phillips Center. “Each year, we expand our reach to connect more communities with the arts; from the City of Orlando to Orange and Osceola counties and beyond, we are opening doors for more people to experience the arts.”

On February 7, elected officials from the City of Orlando and Orange County government from each district will gather to highlight 16 schools and community organizations selected to participate in this special experience. The celebration continues on February 10, with 200 students from Osceola County schools participating in their first-ever field trip to experience the magic of Broadway.

Attendees will enjoy complimentary transportation provided by GoPegasus, a pre-show reception with trivia games, ice cream from Kelly’s Ice Cream, and a themed gift bag to take home. Through the Community Giveback initiative, the Dr. Phillips Center works with donors and partners to provide special cultural experiences to audiences throughout Central Florida. This community support initiative is made possible thanks to the generous support of Bob Fleming and Molly Rose, the City of Orlando, the Florida Theatrical Association, GoPegasus, Jeff and Alexis Weltman, JP Morgan Chase, Kelly’s Ice Cream, Orange County Government, Sysco, and WastePro.
