Condado Osceola, FL – El Distrito Escolar de Osceola anunció que ha alcanzado su mayor tasa de aceleración universitaria y profesional en la historia del distrito, aumentando 15 puntos porcentuales hasta el 72.8% en el curso escolar 2025–2026. Esto significa que tres de cada cuatro graduados de la clase de 2025 obtuvieron al menos una credencial acelerada, demostrando una sólida preparación para el éxito en la educación superior. Los estudiantes contribuyeron a este logro completando uno o más de los siguientes:
- Obtener créditos universitarios mediante la matrícula doble;
- Obtener un certificado del Cambridge Advanced International of Education (AICE), del International Baccalaureate (IB) o del Advanced Placement (AP); y/o
- Obtener una certificación aprobada por la industria.
Al obtener estos créditos y credenciales mientras aún están en la escuela superior, los estudiantes y sus familias ahorran dinero en la matrícula universitaria y reducen el tiempo que se tarda en completar un título tras graduarse.
Entre los aspectos destacados se encuentran:
- Las escuelas púbicas que no son chárter alcanzaron una tasa del 73.5%, mientras que las escuelas chárter alcanzaron el 66.0%.
- Todas las escuelas tradicionales que no son chárter mejoraron respecto al año pasado, con incrementos notables en varios campus:
- Liberty High School: +39 puntos porcentuales
- Gateway High School: +34 puntos porcentuales
- Osceola High School: +21 puntos porcentuales

Osceola School District achieves highest-ever college and career acceleration rate
Osceola County, FL – The Osceola School District announced that it has achieved its highest college and career acceleration rate in district history, increasing 15 percentage points to 72.8% for the 2025–2026 school year. This means that three out of four graduates in the Class of 2025 earned at least one accelerated credential, demonstrating strong preparation for postsecondary success. Students contributed to this achievement by completing one or more of the following:
- Earning college credit through Dual Enrollment;
- Passing a Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) , International Baccalaureate (IB), or Advanced Placement (AP) exam; and/or
- Earning an approved industry certification.
By obtaining these credits and credentials while still in high school, students and their families save money on college tuition and reduce the time it takes to complete a degree after graduation.
Highlights include:
- Non-charter schools achieved a rate of 73.5%, while charter schools reached 66.0%.
- All traditional non-charter high schools improved from last year, with notable increases at several campuses:
- Liberty High School: +39 percentage points
- Gateway High School: +34 percentage points
- Osceola High School: +21 percentage points
