El Departamento de Adquisiciones de St. Cloud organiza la Academia de Proveedores de 8:00 a. m. a 10:30 a. m. el viernes 13 de marzo en el Salón de Banquetes Marina, ubicado en 1104 E. Lakeshore Blvd. El evento es gratuito, pero se recomienda registrarse con anticipación.
El evento comenzará a las 8:00 a. m. con 30 minutos de networking. A las 8:30 p. m., comienza el programa, y el personal de Adquisiciones explicará los requisitos para ser proveedor de la ciudad, cómo navegar y registrarse en las convocatorias de licitación, los requisitos de seguro y cómo programar eventos especiales en la ciudad.
Los asistentes también tendrán la oportunidad de visitar mesas informativas de diversos departamentos de la ciudad, como Edificación, Desarrollo Comunitario, Gestión de Riesgos, Parques y Recreación, y Adquisiciones.

St. Cloud plans vendor recruitment event
St. Cloud, FL – The city of St. Cloud is inviting local area businesses who are interested in doing work for the city or providing products to the city, or organizations interested in hosting events in the city, to attend the Vendor Academy.
The St. Cloud Procurement Department is hosting the Vendor Academy from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 13, at the Marina Banquet Hall, 1104 E. Lakeshore Blvd. The event is free, but pre-registration is encouraged.
The event will begin at 8 a.m. with 30 minutes of networking. At 8:30, the program begins, and Procurement staff will explain the requirements for being a city vendor, how to navigate and register for city bid solicitations, insurance requirements, and also how to schedule special events in the City.
Attendees also will have the opportunity to visit information tables with various city departments, including Building, Community Development, Risk Management, Parks & Recreation, and Procurement.
