Condado Osceola, FL – El 3 de abril la Oficina del Sheriff de Osceola recibió una llamada al 911 de un hombre de 51 años, quien informó que había sido baleado por su padre en el garaje de su residencia. Los agentes llegaron a la dirección 103 Westmoreland Circle, en Kissimmee, y comenzaron a brindar asistencia médica a la víctima. La víctima fue trasladada por vía aérea a un hospital, donde fue sometida a una intervención quirúrgica. El sospechoso, Billy Leroy Barr, de 85 años (nacido el 24/04/1941), fue localizado fuera de la residencia y detenido sin incidentes.
Las circunstancias que rodean el tiroteo continúan bajo investigación. Billy Leroy Barr fue arrestado e ingresado en la cárcel del condado Osceola, donde se le imputaron los siguientes cargos: agresión agravada con arma letal, disparar hacia el interior o dentro de una vivienda ocupada y exhibición indebida de un arma de fuego.

Osceola County, FL – On April 3 Osceola Sheriff Office received a 911 call from a 51-year-old man stating that he had been shot by his father, in the garage of their residence. Deputies arrived at the address of 103 Westmoreland Circle, Kissimmee and began rendering medical aid to the victim. The victim was airlifted to the hospital and underwent surgery. The suspect 85 year-old Billy Leroy Barr (4/24/1941) was located outside the residence and detained without incident. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. Billy Leroy Barr was arrested and booked into the Osceola County jail and charged with: Aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, shooting into/ or within an occupied dwelling and improper exhibition of a firearm
