Kissimmee, FL – El Club de Monta Silver Spurs coronó el 29 de mayo con orgullo una nueva corte real del rodeo durante el 65° Concurso Anual de Miss Silver Spurs, celebrado en el Silver Spurs Arena en Osceola Heritage Park. En una tradición que se remonta a 1960, este evento tan querido celebra a jóvenes mujeres que ejemplifican la equitación, el liderazgo y una profunda conexión con el estilo de vida del viejo oeste.
“Cada año, nos sorprende el corazón, la fuerza y la gracia que estas jóvenes traen a la arena”, dijo Tihler Shay Franey, presidenta del Comité del Concurso Miss Silver Spurs. “Son más que solo reinas, son embajadoras del estilo de vida del viejo oeste y modelos a seguir para la próxima generación de aficionados al rodeo.”
“Este concurso ha sido parte de nuestra tradición durante 65 años”, agregó Randy Booth, gran jefe del Rodeo Silver Spurs. “Es un honor ver cómo continúa creciendo mientras se preservan los valores y las tradiciones que construyeron este club desde sus cimientos.”
Mientras que muchas competiciones requieren una preparación extensa, el Concurso de Miss Silver Spurs se distingue por su énfasis en la equitación. Las concursantes no sólo desarrollan habilidades de hablar en público, de medios de comunicación y de entrevistas, sino que también demuestran su vínculo con su caballo y su conocimiento del patrimonio del rodeo, que son fundamentales para el proceso de evaluación.
La recién coronada Corte de Miss Silver Spurs representará al Club de Equitación Silver Spurs durante todo el año en eventos comunitarios y rodeos estatales, incluyendo el 155° Rodeo Silver Spurs que tuvo lugar el viernes 30 de mayo y el sábado 31 de mayo a las 7:30 p.m. en la Arena Silver Spurs en Kissimmee, Florida.

Kissimmee, FL – The Silver Spurs Riding Club proudly crowned on May 29th a new court of rodeo royalty during the 65th Annual Miss Silver Spurs Pageant, held at the Silver Spurs Arena in Osceola Heritage Park. In a tradition that dates back to 1960, this beloved event celebrates young women who exemplify horsemanship, leadership, and a deep connection to the Western way of life.
“Each year, we’re amazed at the heart, strength, and poise these young women bring to the arena,” said Tihler Shay Franey, Chair of the Miss Silver Spurs Pageant Committee. “They’re more than just queens—they are ambassadors for the Western lifestyle and role models for the next generation of rodeo fans.”
“This pageant has been part of our tradition for 65 years now,” added Randy Booth, Big Boss of the Silver Spurs Rodeo. “It’s an honor to watch it continue to grow while preserving the values and traditions that built this club from the ground up.”
While many competitions require extensive preparation, the Miss Silver Spurs Pageant stands apart thanks to its emphasis on horsemanship. Contestants not only develop public speaking, media, and interview skills—they also demonstrate their bond with their horse and knowledge of rodeo heritage, which are integral to the judging process.
The newly crowned Miss Silver Spurs Court represents the Silver Spurs Riding Club throughout the year at community events and statewide rodeos, including the 155th Silver Spurs Rodeo held Friday, May 30 and Saturday, May 31 at 7:30 p.m. at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee, Florida.
