Condado Osceola, FL – Los integrantes del equipo de debate de la escuela Osceola Science Charter School obtuvieron los primeros lugares en una competencia que reunió a más de 200 estudiantes de la zona. Este mes de octubre, el grupo puso a prueba sus habilidades durante la fase clasificatoria regional de la iniciativa “Florida Civics & Debate Initiative”. Maya U. y Juwairiyah E.A., de Osceola Science, alcanzaron el primer puesto, mientras que Amanda G. obtuvo el tercer lugar. “Más allá de los premios, celebramos la valentía, la preparación y la determinación de cada estudiante que se atrevió a competir” señaló el director Andrew Moon.
Osceola Science students deliver award-winning performance at debate tournament
Osceola County, FL – Members of Osceola Science Charter School’s debate team came out on top in a competition that attracted more than 200 local students. This October, the group put their skills to the test during the Florida Civics & Debate Initiative’s regional qualifier. Osceola Science’s Maya U. and Juwairiyah E.A. both earned first place, and Amanda G. took home third. “Beyond the awards, we celebrate the courage, preparation and determination of every student who stepped up to compete,” said principal Andrew Moon.
