Kissimmee, FL – La Duke Energy Foundation ha otorgado a la Education Foundation del Condado Osceola una subvención de 20.000 dólares para apoyar su programa de trayectorias profesionales “Career Pipelines”, ayudando así a los estudiantes a explorar oportunidades laborales y a prepararse para el éxito futuro.
Esta subvención forma parte del compromiso continuo de Duke Energy Florida y la Duke Energy Foundation de fortalecer las comunidades mediante inversiones en educación y desarrollo de la fuerza laboral.
“Estamos sumamente agradecidos con la Duke Energy Foundation por su generoso apoyo”, dijo Kerry Avery, directora ejecutiva de la Education Foundation del Condado Osceola. “Al trabajar en estrecha colaboración con el Distrito Escolar del Condado Osceola, estamos creando vías claras desde el aula hasta el mundo laboral, brindando a nuestros estudiantes la oportunidad de alcanzar sus metas y fortalecer la fuerza laboral de nuestra comunidad”.
El programa “Career Pipelines” conecta a los estudiantes con empleadores locales mediante actividades de orientación profesional, experiencias en el lugar de trabajo y aprendizaje práctico que los prepara para la universidad, la formación técnica, el servicio militar y el mercado laboral. La subvención de $20.000 ayudará a ampliar estas oportunidades y a fortalecer las alianzas con las industrias locales.

Education Foundation Osceola County awarded Duke Energy Foundation grant
Kissimmee, FL – The Duke Energy Foundation has awarded the Education Foundation Osceola County a $20,000 grant to support its “Career Pipelines” program, helping students explore career opportunities and prepare for future success.
The grant is part of Duke Energy Florida and the Duke Energy Foundation’s ongoing commitment to strengthening communities through investments in education and workforce development.
“We are incredibly grateful to the Duke Energy Foundation for their generous support,” said Kerry Avery, Executive Director of the Education Foundation Osceola County. “By working hand-in-hand with the School District of Osceola County, we are creating clear pathways from the classroom to careers, giving our students the opportunity to achieve their goals and strengthen our community’s workforce.”
The Career Pipelines program connects students with local employers through career awareness activities, workplace experiences, and hands-on learning that prepares them for college, technical training, military service, and the workforce. The $20,000 grant will help expand these opportunities and strengthen partnerships with local industries.
