Man convicted of Lewd Molestation with a minor
Osceola County, FL – On July 15, 2023, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office obtained a felony warrant for Scott Arthur Shaw on charges of sexual battery, lewd and lascivious molestation, lewd and lascivious touching, and showing obscene material to a minor. The victim in this case was a 15-year-old male. Shaw was arrested, interviewed by detectives, and booked into the Osceola County Jail. He subsequently posted bond and awaited further legal proceedings.
On August 5, 2026, following a jury trial, Scott Arthur Shaw was found guilty of the following offenses:
- 2 Counts of Lewd and lascivious molestation
- 2 Counts of Lewd and lascivious touching of certain minors
- 1 Count of Lewd and lascivious battery
- 1 Contributing to the delinquency of a minor
- 1 Showing obscene material to a minor
