Condado Osceola, FL – La Oficina del Sheriff del Condado Osceola fue notificada por el Centro Nacional para Niños Desaparecidos y Explotados (NCMEC, por sus siglas en inglés) sobre un individuo que poseía material de abuso sexual infantil. Los detectives de la unidad de Crímenes en Internet contra Niños (ICAC, por sus siglas en inglés) iniciaron una investigación sobre el incidente. El 4 de junio de 2026, los detectives de la unidad ICAC ejecutaron una orden de registro domiciliario en una residencia del vecindario Whispering Oaks, ubicado en Kissimmee, Florida, en relación con este incidente. Como resultado de la investigación, el sospechoso fue identificado como Steven Joseph Nickles.
Durante la investigación, los detectives hallaron pruebas de que el Sr. Nickles poseía archivos de material de abuso sexual infantil, así como archivos de bestialismo. Con base en las pruebas obtenidas durante esta investigación, el Sr. Nickles fue imputado con dieciséis (16) cargos de posesión de pornografía infantil, catorce (14) cargos de posesión de imágenes/videos de actos sexuales con animales y un (1) cargo de uso ilícito de un dispositivo de comunicación bidireccional. El Sr. Nickles fue arrestado e ingresado en la Cárcel del Condado Osceola sin derecho a fianza. Esta investigación continúa en curso y no existen pruebas que indiquen que el Sr. Nickles haya tenido contacto personal con menores de edad.
Possession of Child Pornography Possession of Image/Video of Animal Sex Act (Bestiality)
Osceola County, FL – The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) of an individual possessing child sexual abuse material. Detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit began an investigation into
the incident. On June 4, 2026, Detectives with the ICAC unit served a residential search warrant at a residence in the Whispering Oaks neighborhood located in Kissimmee, Florida regarding this incident. Through investigation, the suspect was identified as Steven Joseph Nickles.
During the investigation, detectives located evidence of Mr. Nickles possessing files of Child Sexual Abuse Material and files of Bestiality. Based on the evidence obtained during this investigation, Mr. Nickles was charged with sixteen (16) counts of Possession of Child Pornography, fourteen (14) counts Possession of Image/Video of Animal Sex Act, and one (1) count of Unlawful Use of Two-Way Communication Device. Mr. Nickles was arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail with zero bond. This investigation is ongoing and there is no evidence that Mr. Nickles has met any minors in person.
