Kissimmee, FL – La Ciudad de Kissimmee celebró el Festival Juneteenth el sábado, 15 de junio, en el Kissimmee Civic Center, ubicado en el 201 E. Dakin Ave., Kissimmee, Florida.
Durante el festival, para resaltar el significado de Juneteenth, la ciudad presentó una proclamación celebrando el fin de la esclavitud en los Estados Unidos y honrando la cultura y herencia afroamericana.
El festival contó con una fiesta vecinal con diversas actividades emocionantes para toda la familia, incluidas actuaciones en vivo de JP & The Elements, Collé Kharis, deliciosa comida y vendedores de artesanía.
El Kissimmee Juneteenth Festival es una celebración de la libertad en toda la comunidad. Entre los colaboradores de este evento se encuentran la National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) y el Black Empowerment Community Council.

Juneteenth Celebration in Our City
Kissimmee, FL – The City of Kissimmee hosted the Juneteenth Festival on Saturday, June 15, at the Kissimmee Civic Center, located at 201 E. Dakin Ave., Kissimmee, Florida.
During the festival, to highlight Juneteenth’s significance, the city presented a proclamation celebrating the end of slavery in the United States and honoring African American culture and heritage.
The festival featured a block party with various exciting activities for the whole family, including live performances by JP & The Elements, Collé Kharis, delicious food, and craft vendors.
The Kissimmee Juneteenth Festival was a community-wide celebration of freedom. Community partners for this event included the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the Black Empowerment Community Council.
This event was sponsored by Experience Kissimmee, Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA), and Toho Water Authority. Attendees experienced the KUA Kids Power Zone, which offered fun activities for children.
